Cochamó es reconocido por su geografía única, donde numerosos valles, montañas y ríos permiten un ecosistema inigualable en todo el planeta. Hostel “Cielo y Tierra” (Sky and Earth) Mountain Refuge
Nuestro Hostal está emplazado en el sector El Bosque del Valle de Cochamó, con una vista panorámica privilegiada, no sólo del Estuario del Reloncaví, sino además, de todo un cordón montañoso y volcánico, que se extiende desde el Volcán Osorno hasta el Volcán Yates.

¿QUÉ HACER?
Si eres amante de la naturaleza y la aventura, en el Valle de Cochamó puedes desarrollar diferentes actividades de este tipo. Es un lugar propicio para el senderismo y la escalada en sus enormes montañas de granito. Además, es ideal para realizar cabalgatas, paseos en kayak y pesca deportiva, así como también te permitirá sumergirte en esta naturaleza poco intervenida.
Other contemplatory activities involve photography, bird and native fauna sighting, and recreational activities such as mountain bikes, boat tours though the Puelo River and Reloncaví estuary.
OUR ROOMS
When you stay at Cielo y Tierra Hostel, you can enjoy large and comfortable rooms. Each room is set in a typical Chilean-Southern fashion, with detailed native wooden constructions, wool, warm bedding and a beautiful view to the mountains.

TREKKING OR HORSE RIDE
COCHAMÓ VALLEY, LA JUNTA.
This experience will allow you to know and visit one of most beautiful places in the Chilean Patagonia, world famous by trekking activities and traditional climbing. Surrounded by an abundant ecosystem diversity, native flora and fauna, rivers and pure watersheds, and a vast temperate rainforest, known as Valdivian Rainforest. Cochamó Valley is at the Andes Mountain Range connecting Chilean and Argentinian territory though a historic road drawn by the first colonizers of the area.
Here you will be able to meet the huge granite walls, which are explored every year by climbers from all over the world. You can also visit the natural waterslides, a wonderful place created by Nature, where you can get great pictures from your trip and swim in the superb waters of the La Junta River.

TREKKING
CAYUTUÉ LAKE
Located far south to the National Park Vicente Pérez Rosales. In this place you can do trekking through a beautiful path surrounded by native forest and dense vegetation, arriving at a calm and solitary lake without human intervention, with a wide view to the mountains covered by the rainforest and next to the famous Puntiagudo Volcano. There you can shoot pictures, do some sport fishing, bird sighting, and swim in the lake, since the water temperature is quite pleasant.

TREKKING
COCHAMÓ EAST VALLEY WATERFALLS
Location: East Valley, Cochamó.
Trekking through a forest path and a panoramic view of the valley, going to the Cochamó River mouth. There we will be met by a local family, making a short stop at their home, sharing some mate herb and a good chat. Then we continue going into the very same mountain and rainforest, reaching several waterfalls, where you can shoot photographs, do some bird sighting, and swim in the river, if you are brave enough.

PUELO VALLEY AND TAGUA TAGUA LAKE TOUR
Location: Puelo Valley
This tour allows you to know this glaciar-born valley, surrounded by the mountains, plentiful waterfalls, lakes, lagoons and rivers. You will meet Puelo River, born in Puelo Lake, Argentina, joining the Pacific Ocean on the other side. Favourite by its adventure sport and fishing. After this, we continue to Tagua Tagua Lake, with beautiful turquoise colored water, surrounded by mountains and rainforest, which we can cross boarding a barge from end-to-end. Ideal trip for those who enjoy nature and photography.
