This experience has as a starting point our mountain refuge, to then immerse yourself into the mountain and its Valdivian rainforest full diverse ecosystems, such as fungi, ferns, natural decomposition of tree trunks, insects, different birds as the giant black woodpecker, Chucao, condors, among others. You can also find native fauna, as the rare Pudú, foxes, hares, Monito del monte, among the astonishing landscape generously arranged with giant trees, such as the Coihue, Mañío, and Lenga, which will be our company along the trekking, until we finally arrive at Cerro Negro foothill. This massive dark stone structure with 1476 meters (4842 feet) above sea level provides a panoramic perspective to the landscape of the Northern entrance of the Chilean Patagonia, and an incredible view to the Cochamó Valley: The granite walls, Reloncaví Estuary, and Volcanoes Yates, Osorno, Calbuco and Puntiagudo.
